I’ve been hearing some grumbling of late. It seems there are quite a few people out there who are not sharing. Especially ladies.
Now, my friends, is not the time for selfishness.
From the stories I am hearing there are a number of women out there who are not sharing information about websites with their clients. They have current and former clients asking them what the good websites are, and these ladies are not sharing about the sites that they themselves are using.
Why?
Because they are trying to keep those clients all to themselves.
I know that if you are reading this right now, chances are you are fairly well connected within the community. You are likely on at least one social media platform and make use of at least one website dedicated to Consensual Transactional Sex (CTS).
But, there are a lot, and I do mean A LOT, of clients out there who are not connected.
They are the guys who had one site. They used BackPage. Or they were only on NightShift. Or one of the other sites that went dark this past spring. They were like the majority of CTS clients who are not socially active. The “Lone Wolf” clients. They play plenty, but they don’t get involved. So when they went to look on BP for a lady to see and were greeted by the logos of multiple law enforcement agencies, they were left stranded. Same for the everyday users of a few other sites. Everything went dark for them when those sites went down.
All they could do was call whatever numbers they had saved for ladies they’ve already seen. Except, a good number of guys like that don’t save numbers. They don’t have their own “little black books” or whatever you call the electronic equivalent. I have heard of a couple of guys who were left with just a single phone number.
And it turns out, that some ladies have been unwilling to tell these poor souls about sites like Switter, PrivateDelights, YesBackPage, TNA Board, and others. They instead have been attempting to keep these guys for themselves.
Ladies, now is not the time to be selfish. I know that many of you providers took a serious hit when the websites you used went offline. Business slowed down for many of you. But trying to keep clients just for yourself is not the answer. Because when these guys fond out about the sites that we are all using now, they will find your profiles. Then they’ll know you were lying about not knowing what sites people are using.
The reality, ladies, is that guys are likely to repay your kindness. Tell them about all the sites you are using. It gives them a good reason to tell other guys about you.
Times are still hard for our community. They’re getting better, but we cannot be sure how long that will last. Now is the time for community. It’s the time to work together, not to be selfish.
Don’t try to horde clients. Truth is, the ladies that I know who are promoting all the new sites to their clients are also the ladies who are getting plenty of clients. It’s good karma to share. It’s bad news to be selfish.
So ladies—and gentlemen—tell people about Switter. Tell them about AdultLook. Talk about Party2Please. Mention to people about the listings on PrivateDelights. Give a shout-out to YesBackPage. While you’re at it, you might even say a nice thing or two about a little blog you read. 😄
But share. Share. Your community needs you.
